Testing Principle
When the E27 cap on a finished lamp is pushed into the gauge as far as it will go, surface W of the plunger shall not project beyond surface V, with the cap positioned so that the solder on the intermediate contact is located in the recess provided in the gauge. This verifies that the screw thread dimensions meet the exact minimum requirements of IEC 60061-3.
