Flame Test Equipment FAQs

What standards can KingPo flame test equipment support?

KingPo supplies equipment configured for selected methods within the IEC 60695 series, UL 94, GB/T 5169, IEC 60332, UL 1581, FMVSS 302 and other applicable product or material standards. The exact standard, edition, burner, specimen arrangement and verification requirements should be confirmed for each project.

What is the difference between Glow Wire Tester and Needle Flame Tester?

Glow Wire simulates heat from overloaded components (IEC 60695-2-10), while Needle Flame evaluates small flame faults inside products (IEC 60695-11-5).

Is calibration documentation available?

Calibration or verification documentation is available for applicable burners, copper blocks, thermocouples, temperature-measurement components and flame-height gauges. The exact calibration items, measurement points, issuing laboratory and traceability scope should be confirmed before ordering.

Can I use KingPo equipment for battery or automotive material testing?

Yes, widely used for battery casings, automotive interiors, plastic enclosures, and electronic components fire safety evaluation.

What is the difference between needle-flame, 50 W and 500 W flame tests?

These are separate test methods with different burners, flame characteristics, specimen arrangements and evaluation requirements. The needle-flame method is covered by IEC 60695-11-5, while 50 W and 500 W test flames are specified through their respective test-flame methods. The applicable product or material standard should be confirmed before equipment selection.

Does KingPo provide after-sales support and spare parts?

Yes, we offer global after-sales service, technical support, and original spare parts supply.
