A Practical Guide to IEC 60335-2 Test Equipment
This guide is intended for test engineers, laboratory planners, certification teams and manufacturers evaluating the safety of household and similar electrical appliances. It organizes appliance-specific testing requirements and related equipment by standard, appliance type and test function, including measuring instruments, access probes, mechanical fixtures, electrical safety equipment, environmental test systems and fire-test apparatus.
The clause tables connect identified test requirements with relevant testing equipment or materials and link to KINGPO products where a suitable match is available. Where a dedicated product page or confirmed model is not available, the equipment is identified by its general name. KINGPO can also discuss customized instruments, fixtures and integrated systems for specific testing applications.
Standard scope: This guide supports equipment selection and website navigation; it does not replace the official IEC standards or certification documentation. IEC 60335-2 parts are applied together with IEC 60335-1, as applicable.
