The Hinge Endurance Tester is a precision test system designed to evaluate the mechanical durability and torque retention of door hinges, particularly concealed hinges used in household appliances and furniture. Manufactured in accordance with UL 859 Section 53 and UL 1727 Section 64, the equipment automatically opens and closes the test door under controlled load while measuring torque before and after the test to determine hinge performance degradation.
Testing Principle
The tester mounts the hinge on a test door fixture and uses a servo-driven propulsion system to perform repeated open-close cycles at a preset angle and speed. Torque is measured at the beginning and end of the test to calculate torque loss. The system supports up to 70 kg test load and can run up to 999999 cycles, providing accurate and repeatable endurance data.
