The Programmable AC Power Source Selector converts the DUT information entered above into a preliminary capacity requirement. It does more than match the equipment nameplate power. The calculation considers output phase, available facility input, load behavior, expected inrush current and long-duration operation. It then compares the calculated requirement with the priced KINGPO model range and recommends the smallest compatible capacity with sufficient operating margin. The displayed price is an indicative EXW reference rather than a binding quotation because communication interfaces, special frequency options, installation requirements and non-standard configurations can affect the final specification.
The power source output phase must match the DUT. Single-phase products normally use AC11 or AC31 configurations, while three-phase equipment requires an AC13 or AC33 configuration. For a three-phase DUT, confirm whether the stated voltage is phase-to-neutral or line-to-line. A 520 V selection represents three-phase line voltage and must not be interpreted as a single-phase output rating.
Rated kVA alone is not enough for every load. Heaters are comparatively predictable, while switching power supplies, transformers, motors and compressors can demand substantially more current during startup. The load factors in this tool are conservative screening values. If measured peak current and duration are available, enter a known inrush factor and ask an engineer to verify overload capability.
AC11 models support the wider frequency range shown on the product page. For higher-power models, operation up to 400 Hz may require an optional configuration and must be confirmed before purchase. Continuous aging and burn-in applications also place greater thermal demand on the source, so the selector adds an additional capacity margin when long-duration duty is enabled.
Use the recommendation as the starting point for technical discussion, not as automatic approval. Provide the DUT type, rated voltage, rated power, power factor, startup current, test duration and required interfaces. KINGPO can then confirm the correct model, wiring arrangement, protection settings and installation conditions before issuing the formal quotation.
For tests based on an international electrical standard, confirm the required supply conditions in the applicable document through the official IEC Webstore. The Programmable AC Power Source Selector supports equipment selection but does not replace the requirements stated in the DUT standard.
Use the AC selector above for controlled voltage, frequency and phase output. If your DUT requires regulated high-current DC output, review the corresponding DC source before requesting a final configuration.
